National Unity Party (UBP) Central Executive Board Member Ahmet Savaşan in a television program, the Prime Minister Ersin Tatar’s presidency, he emphasized that his main goal would be “social unity” and “restoring good relations with Turkey”.
“One of the most important problems of our country today is our deteriorating relations with the Turkish government and public opinion. If these relations do not improve, our power to influence developments in our region will disappear and our economic problems will increase. Let alone receiving financial aid, even our tourism and higher education institutions will be shaken due to the reaction of the Turkish public opinion.” Ahmet Savaşan, emphasized the importance of establishing good relations with Turkey and Ersin Tatar’s first priority in the presidency will be to restore these relations.
